Dr. Sravani had doctorate in Plant Sciences from reputed Hyderabad central university in plant microbial interactions with specific focus on molecular cross talk between plant growth promoting rhizobacteria and plants. She was a post graduate in Biotechnology from Hyderabad central university, Hyderabad by clearing national level JNU combined entrance exam for biotechnology in 2009. She had an outstanding academic record (with above 90%) throughout her carrier including graduation in Biotechnology from Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur.

Her knowledge on subject and contribution to science can be judged by her number of international research publications in reputed journals. Apart she has been part of reviews and book chapters which will expose her scientific writing skills. As an acknowledgment and recognition to the efforts, she received SERB International travel support in Jul 2017 to present work in Indonesia. Received Best Poster Presentation Award-2016 on “Metabolomic and proteomic analysis of the interaction between plant growth promoting rhizobacteria and Arachis hypogaea L.” at 8^th Plant Science Colloqium-2016 organized by University of Hyderabad, Hyderabad. Impact of hot oil treatments on the physical properties of Bambusa tulda Roxb..

Area of Specialization:

Hot oil treatment of bamboo using Palm oil

- Fresh green culms of Bambusa tulda bamboo were procured from the local market of Aizawl.

- The culms were cut into three separate portions viz. basal, middle, and apical portion.

- The culms were treated using hot oil treatment at different temperatures. Palm oil was used for this purpose.

- This experiment was taken to study about the dimensional stability of bamboo i.e. Bambusa tulda.

- The results of the study are helpful for utilization of bamboo and its durability under humid climatic conditions of Mizoram state.

- Leaves, vegetables of crops were collected from Tanhril area which are showed symptoms based on the presence of lesions, spot and rust etc.

- Using dissecting microscope, based on the presence of these characteristics symptoms, the suspected portion leaves of fruits were carefully dissected with razors ( Both Transverse and longitudinally).

- Staining is then done with cotton blue and temporary slides were prepared.

- The Mycelium of the fungus, its sexual and asexual stages and the fruiting bodies if present are studied, under different magnifications.

- Identification was based on the spores along with its various symptoms on leaves or fruits which were then cross check with literatures from known Authors ( Angrios,2005;Mehrotra, 2013; Ainsworth et al.,1973).

Sadiq Pasha Shaik joined as R&D Officer in Prathista Industries Limited Hyderabad in August 2018. Sadiq is handling & supervising R&D projects on Process Improvement and New Products development. He is responsible for supervising the stability testing studies of Food grade products – production batches. He takes care of routine microbial cultures maintenance and is actively contributing his part in the ongoing R&D projects at Prathista.

Earlier he worked as Senior Research Fellow in ICAR- IIHR Bengaluru in project titled “Exploration of endophytic microbial community in horticultural crops through metagenomics and cultivation” From June 2013- June 2018. Prior to this he worked as lecturer in Oxbridge college of science and commerce from 2012- 2013, prior to this he had worked as Senior Research Fellow in University of Agricultural Sciences GKVK Bengaluru. Dr. Alok is associated with Prathista Industries Limited, Hyderabad since 2016. He is working in the capacity of Senior Manager and Head, R&D and Customer Services, and is taking care of Scientific & Technological aspects of the Organization. During his illustrative carrier spanning over 35 years, he has served as Research Scientist at Thapar Centre for Industrial R&D, Patiala, Punjab for about 13 years (April 1987 to May 2000). During this period, he was one of the first batch of scientist who has developed seven biotech processes to manufacture products like maltodextrins, plant growth promoters, bioconversion of lingo cellulosic wastes in to soil conditioner, up gradation of corn gluten, bamboo preservation, bagasse preservation, sugar cane juice clarification etc. and successfully commercialized in various industries. With such success in establishing commercial production, he has also served as Adjunct faculty in School of Biotechnology, during April 1993 to May 2000, at TIET (presently known as Thapar University), Patiala.

He is Doctorate in Biochemistry from Jiwaji University, Gwalior; had worked for his research in National Institute of Malaria Research (ICMR), Haridwar, Uttarakhand. He is the Fellow of Society of Plant Research (SPR), India; Association of Plant Science Research (APSR) and Life Member of Asian PGPR Society. He is also associated with IESKI- Food Association, Austria and European Federation of Biotechnology, Europe. Ltd for past 13 years and sharpened his professional skills in Finance and Accounting discipline. This has helped him to understand the requirements in Prathista Group and offer dedicated services to the Company.

During the past one year journey with Prathista Group, Shri J. Bala Swamy  is actively participating in important areas like filing of Statutory Returns, follow up with Financial Institutions for monitoring the Funds required by the Company and also attending routine day to day functions of Finance Department of the Company.

Shri M. Lakshmi Narayana on his appointment assumed charge as Company Secretary of M/s. Prathista Industries Limited with effect from 14 December, 2015.  He has graduated in Commerce from Andhra University. He did Cost Accountancy from Institute of Cost and Management Association of India (ICMAI) in 1989 and also did Company Secretary from Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) in the year 2004.

Shri M. Lakshmi Narayana started his career in Electronics Corporation of India (ECIL) (A Government of India Enterprise) in 1980 and worked there till 1990.  Subsequently joined in a Private Sector and worked there till 1993.  Thereafter joined in April’1993 as Assistant Manager in Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) (A Government of India Enterprise under Ministry of Defence).

Shri M. Lakshmi Narayana has rich experience and mastered in all areas of Finance and Accounts Department. He has simultaneously worked as Head of Finance and as Company Secretary during the last three years before Superannuation from BDL in the year 2015.

During the past three years in M/s. Prathista Industries Limited, Shri M. Lakshmi Narayana made all out efforts to save maximum amounts to the Company where ever occasion permits and guided the Finance Team in addition to performing his key role as Company Secretary of the Company.

He has done his research work on solvent extracts of leaves of Azadirachta indica (Neem) and solvent extracts of indigenous botanicals for isolation and screening of anti-helminthic compounds.

Mr. Venkatesham had almost ten years of experience and presently working as a Deputy Manager in Prathista Industries limited. As a manager in electrical department he is responsible for all machine maintenance issues and supporting the production with issues like

- Organizing & conducting electrical inspections.

- Daily, monthly, and yearly electrical reports preparation.

Mr. Venkatesham has experience in approval procedures of CEIG electrical drawings and inspections as well as electrical installation works. He has other potential work skills in civil department for construction of the buildings as per the plan, mechanical works to handle fermenters, pumps, evaporators, and centrifuges etc. He is also well versed with erection and maintenance works. Bhaskara Rao, has started his career 24 years ago, as stores assistant at safe pack polymers ltd., and grown up to the level of Assistant General Manager-supply chain in different organizations. He is a qualified graduate in B.Com and post graduate diploma holder in material management. His main responsibilities include management and controlling all goods at stores, all types of  material and items right from the stage of regular production activates to expansion of project implementation.
