ORGANIC BUSINESS - PRATHISTA VIRGIN RETAIL


With the use of fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides and other preservatives Retail customers are worried about the purity of the food products they consume. Prathista Industries Limited is committed to make customers available fresh and pure food products by setting up a chain of organic retail outlets in Hyderabad with a brand name Prathista-Virgin, which will cater to the organic appetite of the consumers in the city.

Our products are certified by reputed organizations and confirm to the organic standards like EU 2092/91, USA NOP, and Indian NPOP. These Products are divided into 3 categories.

  • Organic: Public or private certifying agencies accredited by APEDA will inspect the farms and verify the farm methods, test the products, soil and water for the residues. After successful completion of these procedures the products will be certified as Organic.


  • Under conversion: Any conventional land/farm product will take 2-3 years time to convert into organic. So the farms which are in the 1st year of organic farming system are referred as 1st year under conversion and so on.


  • Natural: Some products like Honey, Tamarind which are available as wild collection are 100% organic and they are marketed as natural products before certification.
